Heat Management

While we all appreciate the warmth of the sun during our workday, excessive heat can turn offices and other workspaces into uncomfortable environments, particularly in rooms with windows. Solar control films allow you to significantly reduce the heat that enters your office through the glass. We offer a selection of shades and colours, with each film providing a unique blend of appearance and performance. Experience the numerous advantages of solar control film, designed to minimise glare and protect against the fading effects of the sun's harmful rays. Additionally, it can reduce energy usage by easing the burden on air conditioning systems, leading to savings on energy costs and a positive impact on your carbon footprint.

Glare Control

Glare affects everyone. Nothing is worse than glare on your computer or eyes. Glare causes headaches, migraines, and eye fatigue. We provide numerous sun-control window films to reduce this glare, improving workplace comfort. Anti-glare window film reduces glare while allowing natural light to pass through. Glass lets you see out without any issues. You can experience the benefits of anti-glare window films instantly. Anti-glare window films can reduce glare by up to 95%. Solar anti-glare films block 99% of UV radiation, protecting upholstery, furniture, and sensitive skin from these potentially hazardous rays. Combining window film with other films for solar protection, privacy, or safety and security makes it cost-effective and low-maintenance. Available in several hues.

Safety & Security

When it comes to safety, thieves and attackers often target windows and glass. This is why many companies use security window films: they create a barrier that prevents intruders and provides a sense of security. Our security films come in a range of strengths, from those that keep out vandals to those that keep out intruders. The security film will make the glass less likely to break when struck, which will slow down and discourage thieves from breaking in. There are different types and finishes of our security films, and they can be applied to both new and old glass. If the glass breaks because someone is trying to rob you, the security film will hold it together and keep the broken glass in the frame. This prevents thieves from breaking in when they have the chance and taking valuable goods.

Anti-Shatter Bomb Blast

For maximum protection in vulnerable locations, use a film and glass containment system. Selecting the correct blast mitigation film thickness is crucial. Various films are available, including translucent, coloured, and opaque options. Flying glass shards cause most explosion and bomb blast injuries. Toughened glass alone does not protect people or property from bomb blasts. Blast mitigation films absorb the energy from both explosions and glass impact. The film prevents broken glass from flying out of the frame.

Clear Privacy Data Protection Film

At Vision, we've developed an innovative window film designed to offer partial clarity, providing a level of privacy and security for environments that deal with sensitive data. This film allows individuals to look through the windows while maintaining a blurred or semi-opaque effect that prevents clear images of computer screens, documents, or any sensitive data on display from being captured. The primary feature of this film is its ability to block photo-capture devices from recording detailed visuals, thus protecting confidential information from unauthorised recording. While it still permits visibility from the outside, the screens within remain secure from prying eyes or cameras, making it ideal for offices, conference rooms, or spaces where sensitive information is being handled.

Standards

Safety window film, a tough plastic, prevents glass from breaking. You can apply it to the inside, outside, or both sides of the glass to enhance its strength. If the glass breaks, the safety film keeps it in place, protecting people and property nearby. Unprotected glass breaks, causing the pieces to fall out of the frame and immediately pose a significant risk. BS EN 12600 states that your glass must have safety film on it. This means you don't have to buy expensive safety glass to meet safety standards. The law stipulates that glass in "critical locations" must meet certain safety standards. The UK's Building Regulations Approved Document K and Scotland's Building Standard 4.8.2 (Collision with glass) both outline these crucial locations. You can see them in Fig. 1.
